Choose improvements with a purpose
Start with the parts of the garden that keep asking for attention.
A recurring problem can be a sign that routine care alone is no longer enough. Planting may have outgrown its space, irrigation may no longer suit the beds, or a path may be difficult to use. Discuss the cause before adding another task to the maintenance list. A focused change can make both the garden and its care more coherent.
Prioritize enhancements by their effect on everyday use and plant health. Separate urgent repairs from seasonal opportunities and longer-term design changes. If work will be phased, coordinate soil preparation, irrigation, and access before new planting or finishes are installed.
