Planning for a working property
Put the guest experience and operations on the same plan.
Map the arrival sequence from parking to the tasting space, then review it alongside deliveries, staff access, and recurring maintenance. A beautiful entry needs to remain clear and usable during busy periods. Discuss which outdoor areas must stay available while work is underway and which improvements can be phased around the operating calendar.
Planting and materials should be considered through their whole season of use. Shade, fallen leaves, irrigation, and the space needed to care for mature planting all affect the experience. Define the desired standard for visitor-facing areas and distinguish routine care from event preparation or larger enhancements.
